Where can I get good, non cheesy art to design bridal shower invitations?

Try istock.com. It’s a large collection of stock images, including some really nice ones. It’s not free, but the images are generally cheaper there (and nothing more than $20) than any other sites. Plus they are all hi-res, so they will look a lot better than grabbing something off the web.
I know you said you’re doing them yourself, but you should check out this website (I had mine here and my friends here):
They do such a great job, and they’re small, and non-cheesey!

Try DIY.com “do it yourself”. you will probably have to do some searching from there but any kind of project they have tons of info and resourses.
