I think that it is absurd to require someone to buy a gift for a certain time of day. ::ahem:: Sorry, back to your question... I would say if you have late evening, then I would get something like bed linens, a back massager, (his & hers) slippers, or one of those machines that plays all of the soothing sounds (rain, birds, etc)... anything that will help them relax.
