What do I get for a Time of Day Bridal Shower?

umm..well normally at a time of day shower they give you a spacific time to buy for..like 8am…then maybe a toaster or a juicer. sooo you might want to check on that…to see of you have a time.
Maybe some kind of lingerie or if you are not comfortable with that, just a gift card to Victoria’s Secret.
A satin pillowcase, some beautiful cotton sheets, a hot water bottle in a cute cover, his and hers Pj’s, some aromatherapy oil to help with sleep (something with lavender in it) , An eye mask .
Late evening…. hmmmm… how about a huge “movie night” gift basket filled with microwave popcorn, flavored popcorn salts, sodas, and some of those huge boxes of candy they have at the movies!
THEN you could either toss in a couple of DVDs…. maybe wedding-themed comedies like Father of the Bride & My Best Friends Wedding …. or…. instead of DVDs, purchase a one-year subscription to Netflix so they can rent their own movies all year long. I think this would make a really fun and totally UNIQUE gift at a bridal shower! It would be memorable and one the groom is sure to appreciate as much as the bride!
I like the movie night basket idea, I’ve done that before.

I absolutely HATE this idea for a bridal shower. I think that it is absurd to require someone to buy a gift for a certain time of day.
::ahem:: Sorry, back to your question… I would say if you have late evening, then I would get something like bed linens, a back massager, (his & hers) slippers, or one of those machines that plays all of the soothing sounds (rain, birds, etc)… anything that will help them relax.
