The bridal parties I attended the guests always bring gifts. So ask the gues to make a riddle about there gift. So she has to guess what it is. If she is wrong…lol there has to be some consequenses. Make her put on a condom on a banana or bake her blow up one. Then you can allways play pin the penis. You have a big picture of a man sticked to the wall and a photo of the groom as the face. Then blindfold her to pin the penis on her groom. LOL

somehow I can’t see my Mom playing “pin the P—-s… lol.
One we just did was fun, we asked all guests to bring a baby picture of themselves… we put them on the table with a number and the bride was to call out the number of who she thought they were… that person came up and held the picture… at the end it was funny who she matched and didn’t…

the best games for me are the ones where no one has to make a fool out of themselves… so word scrambles, or purse search… where you ask for objects women might have in their purse… (breath mints, comb, pen, check book, pictures of kids, anything like that till you see who has the most at the end of the list…
and one shower we were supposed to fill in a questionaire, then found out it was about the bride… silly things like, how many teeth does a beaver have… just silly fun.

At my sisters shower that I am planning for July, we are going to play “name that couple”, I did 10 famous real and 10 TV couples… We are also going to do a word scramble, with 20 words, including the name of the church, reception hall and my sisters future last name… I also plan on while opening gifts having people win prizes… We will ring a bell every 10 min or so and whoever gift is being opened will win a prize… Hope these help :)

wedding shower bingo. Each person fills out a bingo card with what gifts they think she will get. When she gets that gift, they mark it off. When they get bingo they get a prize.

“thats what she said” (kind of raunchy) someone writes down what she says when she opens her gift (ex” how did you know I wanted that?” “oh, my god, its amazing!” )and reads them back to her afterwards as if thats what she said on her honeymoon. Yes, raunchy and tacky but with a group of close girlfriends who had a few drinks, it could be fun, especially if saved for her bachelorette party.

the newly-wed name just like the game show, played at couples showers

ribbon bouquet-not really a game but the bride cannot break any ribbons, they are added to a paper plate and used as her bouquet at the ceremony rehersal as she walks down the aisle.

a bad shower game was at my aunts shower, my grandma bought a pinata with the name of her husband to be written on it and she had to beat it with a stick to break open the candy….THAT was just awful!! *cringe*

I have a bunch for you.

These are easy pen and paper shower games for guests. I just place these games on my site last week here
    Bridable Word Scramble
    Bridal Shower Bingo
    The Bridal Shower Advice Game
    Finish the Bride’s Phrase

Some other great games for the start of the shower are Get to Know you / Ice Breaker Games
These are fun but involve getting to know the guests and the bride and groom.

Most of these games are the do it yourself type and some are printable. Hope it helps.
