how can i word a contract between bridal party and seamstress?
anna g asked:
regarding deposits being non-refundable and non-transferable when someone backs out at the last minute.
deposits are required before dress will be made.
also alterations are seperate from price of dress.
no changes or adding of people one week prior to event.
SEAMSTRESS
Your contract should include:
1. Your names and the name of the seamstress.
2. Date and location of your wedding.
3. Deposit amount and due date.
4. Payment balance amount and due date.
5. Requirements for cancellation by bride and groom (including any fines or deadlines).
6. Compensation for cancellation by seamstress (including refunds).
7. A full description of the dress ordered.
8. A full description of materials to be used.
9. Number and schedule of fittings.
10. Final delivery date for finished dress.
I got this directly from the site above. It had all kinds of lists for different vendors and this was at the very bottom of the page. Didn’t want you to miss it. It’s directed toward brides, but it gives everything you should mention in your contract with them.
