Can anyone help with ideas for an Irish themed bridal shower?

Conveniently, we will be having the shower in March, right around St. Patrick’s Day, but other than that I have no idea what else to do. Don’t go overboard. Go to Party City and pick up some St Patrick’s day decorations. Perhaps get a claddagh on the cake. Celtic knots, bagpipes, or even merely serving Harps or Guinness to drink. Plaid for tartans are as much Irish as Scottish. Shamrocks, clovers and an upside down horseshoe for luck. Also consider a gift relating to it. An afgan with an Irish blessing. A bit of magic from the fairy folk–if she is one for babies soon, there are quite a lot of Irish books on the folklore and legends of the Emerald Isle.
